Cylindra AS, was established in 1989 to continue Peter Opsvik's unique furniture ideas and the production was moved to Sykkylven which has long been the centre of the Norwegian furniture industry.

The artistic and craftsmanship process is significant for each object and most of the work is done by hand.

Peter Opsvik's sculptural furniture were for the first time exhibited in the Museum of Applied Art in Oslo in 1986. Later also in Berlin, Gottingen, Dusseldorf, Zurich, Milan, Paris, Tokyo and London.

Today, you will find a permanent gallery at the workshop. Sculptures like “Lady in Wind, Mountainpeaks, A touch of glass, Passion, Cohesion and Loyality are to be seen. More than 80 different objects are exhibited.
